Course Description:

Students review basic grammatical concepts and continue to study and refine their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Students are required to speak Spanish daily through informal and formal exchanges.  Students practice listening skills through a variety of listening activities including text and various authentic sources.  Reading skills are developed through fiction and non-fiction texts.  Students will improve their written expression by incorporating vocabulary and grammar concepts as related to units of study.  Spanish-speaking cultures are studied through class projects and discussion.

Unit Structure:

Glenbard students enrolled in Spanish 3 will experience the same curriculum, which is designed to provide students with a rich linguistic experience that incorporates the four modes of communication (listening, reading, writing and speaking).
