Course Description:

In French 2, students continue to study language with an emphasis on reading, writing, speaking and understanding basic French. This is accomplished by the use of audio, video and written practices in the language lab and with technology in the classroom. More advanced structures of grammar and communication are introduced, and an appreciation of French-speaking people and their cultures is promoted. Students will also read a short book at the end of the year. This course is designed for students who have taken and passed French level 1.

Unit Structure:

Glenbard students enrolled in French 2 will experience the same curriculum, which is designed to provide students with a rich linguistic experience that incorporates the four modes of communication (listening, reading, writing and speaking) through interpersonal, interpretive and presentational activities.

Common Assessments:
All students will take two summative semester finals.
