Operational Services
Administrative Procedure – Food Services
1. Menu shall be standardized in all District cafeterias.
2. A record of daily student participation in the lunch program shall be maintained by the Building Food Service Manager.
3. The record of participation in the lunch program shall be reviewed monthly by the Assistant Superintendent for Business Services in cooperation with the Building Food Service Manager.
4. In-service workshops shall be held periodically for food service staff.
5. The food service staff shall cooperate with the DuPage County Health Department in evaluating safety and sanitary conditions of the cafeteria.
6. The District shall cooperate with State and Federal agencies to insure qualification and participation in reimbursable food service programs.
7. The District food service shall provide free or reduced price lunches in accordance with existing local, State and Federal guidelines.
