Administrative Procedure – Instructional Materials
Procedures for Requests for Reconsideration of Instructional Material:
A. Any resident or employee of the school district may request reconsideration of instructional
materials used in a school’s educational program.
B. Request for reconsideration of instructional materials, including all printed and audio-visual
materials, will be reported and referred to the Building Principal.
C. The Building Principal will require the person or spokesperson for a group making the request to
complete in writing the questionnaire prior to discussion of the complaint.
D. The Building Principal shall attempt to resolve the requests.
E. Requests which are not resolved shall be referred to the appropriate complaint manager.
