Community Relations
Administrative Procedure – Cooperative Projects With School Affiliated Organizations
All requests for assistance to school affiliated Booster organizations for funding of school related
projects shall be processed through the Superintendent’s office. Approval of such requests may be
approved by the board of Education following review by the Superintendent, with accompanying
request to the Board.
Projects
All projects requiring such assistance shall be subject to Policy 8:80, Public Gifts to the District.
Building Administrators
All Booster organization projects shall have the written approval of the Building Principal before
being presented to the Superintendent.
Written Proposals
All requests must be submitted, in writing, with the following information:
A. Rationale for, and description of, the project under consideration.
B. Rationale for the project’s urgency - hence, the need for the assistance.
C. Timelines for the project’s installation and the Booster organization’s plan for repayment, if
appropriate. Projects requiring a repayment schedule in excess of 4 years will not be considered.
Presentation to the Board
A Booster organization representative and a representative from the school shall be present at the
Board meeting during which the project is discussed.
