Administrative Procedure – Tobacco Use
A. The use of tobacco and tobacco products is prohibited by adults and students on all District 87
property, both indoors and outdoors. For purpose of these regulations, “tobacco” includes
cigarettes; cigars; pipes; smokeless, loose, cut, shredded, ground, powered, or compressed
tobacco; or tobacco products in any other form.
B. Each building will be posted as a “Smoke Free Building”. Postings will be placed at all entrance
points of the buildings and at gates and appropriate outdoor areas. Announcements, as
applicable, will be made at events open to the public.
