What is INCubatoredu?
This yearlong course takes students on a comprehensive entrepreneurial journey – from ideation to execution. Participants develop a business plan, receive mentorship from community leaders, and pitch their ideas to a panel of judges for a chance to win $5,000. Offered by Glenbard High School District 87, this course is available for dual credit through an articulation agreement with the College of DuPage as Entrepreneurship 1161.

How has student interest in the course grown?

Student Pitches

• Students are organized into teams of 4-5.
• Each team is mentored by a business leader from the community to develop their business plan over the course of the school year.
• Each school holds a semifinal pitch competition to determine one team that will represent their school at Final Pitch Night.
• The winning team receives $5,000 to be used toward growing their business.

• Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast – April 24, 2025
• Semifinal Pitch Competitions – May 1-2, 2025
• Final Pitch Night – May 7, 2025 (6:30 p.m. at Glenbard West auditorium)
