Blood donation drives scheduled for Jan. 14
The Village of Lombard and Yorktown Center are both hosting blood donation drives on Tuesday, Jan. 14. Donation times and locations are as follows:
Photo ID is required to donate. Make sure to eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water before donating. Call (630) 723-2589 with eligibility questions.
January is National Blood Donor Month, and one unit of blood can help save up to three lives.
West Boosters hosting annual $10,000 raffle
The Glenbard West Boosters are putting on their annual $10,000 raffle – tickets are on sale until Friday, Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. The prize winners will be drawn at halftime of the 5:30 p.m. varsity girls basketball game on Saturday, Jan. 18 in Biester Gym.
Only 225 raffle tickets are available for sale, and you do not need to be present at the drawing to win. To buy a raffle ticket online, click here.
