It’s World Mental Health Day
October 10 is World Mental Health Day. It is designed to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and mobilize efforts in support of mental health.

Here are a few well-being activities:

  • Start the day with a mindful minute. Take a minute to sit quietly and focus on your breath. This simple mindfulness practice can help to center oneself and set a positive tone for the day ahead.
  • Take a break. Take a break away if possible. Eating well and staying hydrated are essential for maintaining good mental health, so make time for a healthy lunch.
  • Get moving. A bit of exercise can do wonders for mental well-being. Even ten minutes of stretching or walking will make a difference.
  • Connect with nature.  Spend some time outside in the fresh air, surrounded by nature.
