Superintendent’s Message: Welcome Back, Glenbard!

Glenbard students, families, and staff, 

Welcome to the 2025-26 school year! I’m excited to begin my first year as your superintendent and to build on the incredible foundation we share.

Our work is guided by the Glenbard Portrait of a Graduate, which envisions every student as a critical thinker, effective communicator, creator, collaborator, and self-empowered learner. These skills, paired with our unwavering commitment to equity, ensure that every student has access to the opportunities, resources, and support they need to succeed, no matter their path. This year, we will continue to expand programs, build inclusive practices, and strengthen partnerships that open doors for all learners.

Thanks to your support, we’ve launched a historic investment through our 10-year Master Facility Plan. Over the next several years, these renovations will touch every school in our district. These renovations aren’t just about updating buildings, they’re about creating safe, modern, and inspiring spaces where students can learn, collaborate, and thrive. From upgraded classrooms and science labs to improved accessibility and enhanced safety features, every project is designed with student success at its core. 

The 2025-26 school year promises to be filled with opportunities for growth, discovery, and achievement. Our students will continue to have greater access to postsecondary credit opportunities through dual credit courses and advanced placement courses, along with expanded career exploration programs that connect them to real-world experiences and pathways for the future. Whether students plan to attend college, enter the workforce, serve in the military, or pursue specialized training, Glenbard is committed to preparing them for success beyond high school.

I am enthusiastic about the year ahead and truly thrilled to lead Glenbard District 87. Most of all, I look forward to engaging and interacting with our families, students, and community as we begin this exciting journey together.
